hi,

we had a php script included as external_acl_type within debian 5 and 6
within squid2
where every request get counted within a database.

After upgrading to 3.1 the script dies, as it happens pretty often,
squid does not give via standardin (or the script couldn't read it)
we had this behaviour also with Debian6 squid, but there i went back to
squid 2.7.
This would be also possible with Debian7 (imho for the last time).

But i ask me, why this happens.

The acl is configured like this:
external_acl_type phpauthscript protocol=2.5 children=100 ttl=0
negative_ttl=0 %SRC /etc/squid3/authscript

best regards
thomas
