Well, I have learnt the hard way that a branch should only contain work
which will be committed as one entity, so from now on there will be a
branch for each isolated task.

A good example is the policy changes. These should have been kept on a
separate branch, not thrown into the modio branch. Sorry for that.

Yes, this means that there at times will be quite many branches, but it
also encourages committing stuff to the main sources as it will be a bit
harder to work on tasks depending on other before the first is committed
(one dependency is manageable if both are active, two gets hard, more is
almost unmanageable).
