Thank you for this info, I suspected as much but it was good
to have it confirmed before setting off on a wild goose chase.

This was just the sort of info I required. The patch I prepared
should be attached. I had to do more than I thought I would because
my initial patch and testing showed me that I needed to start at the
end of the IP array and work backwards to maintain the order of
sorting created by Bind. The patch therefore means that cycling
does not occur unless a bad address is found and the order of the
addresses tried is the same as those presented by the nameserver.
