/etc/hosts managing project CLOSED

The etc_hosts project branch on sourceforge is now CLOSED, the project is
complete and tested, and it only waits for review and merging.

It's somewhat unix-oriented, but it won't be a portability problem.
It's well-behaved and shouldn't leave a mess after itself.
