Can you try taking this cache_host_domain line out? Also the syntax
is meant to be cache_host_domain proxy.name.au !.my.domain

Yoy may also want to try turning on debugging (run "squid -k debug"
while the real squid is running) so that you can:
1) verify that Pragma: no-cache is not being sent by the browser
2) see more detail about the algorithm

If you like e-mail me (not the list) the debug output and I'll see if
there's anything else I can think of.

Needless to say, you _are_ doing "kill -HUP <squid's pid>" or "squid -
k reconfigure" after each change aren't you :-)?
