Default extension for FTPGET

I have just setup squid 1.1.20 on my Linux Box (Redhat 5.0)

When I try to view/access a file via ftp (from Netscape Browser on Win95),
and if the file on the server has no extension (eg. 00Index.), then I am
getting a default extension of ".EXE" and the browser tries to save the
file to disk.

Is this a problem with ftpget? Or do I need to configure something
somewhere else.

As an example:
If I go to ftp://ftp.cheyenne.com/pub/ARCserve-5-6.xx/ and click on
00Index, my browser prompts me to save file 00Index.exe

Can anybody help? I've tried various FAQs and searching list archives, but
have come up with nothing.

Many thanks
Richard Palmer
