You are probably thinking of the NLANR cache registry that can be found at
http://www.nlanr.net/Cache/Tracker
There are links on that page to three other cache registries as well
(including the one you mention). More than just Squid caches are listed in
the NLANR registry, there are some harvest and Netcache machines listed as
well.
