TCP connection to proxy/port failed

Hi,

since we use OPC to control our squids, we often see the
message 'TCP connection to proxy/port failed', where
proxy/port is one of the parent proxies. When I look
in the log of the parent proxies (squid 1.1.21 and
squid 2.0PL2) I see nothing unusual for this time.
When do such messages pop up and should they alarm
me, or can I ignore them.
Usually I have about 50 of them a day. Usually
we have about 40 hit/s on the child cache.
