FATAL: Received Segment Violation...dying

Hi

I'm running squid2.2 Stable 4 with FD changed to 4096, gnumalloc,
--enable-poll, --enable-async-io, 2 9.1Gb disks for cache a single
symbio logics 53c875 SCSI card
on a Linux 2.2.10-ac10 dual Alpha machine.

After some hours of running, squid parent dies and a new one is started

Jul 12 14:13:16 funtoy squid[8410]: Squid Parent: child process 8411
exited due to signal 6
Jul 12 14:13:19 funtoy squid[8410]: Squid Parent: child process 8506
started

I've looked at cache.log and I found a messages saying:

FATAL: Received Segment Violation...dying

and several messages saying:

14:17:09| storeLateRelease: released 5843 objects
14:17:50| aio_queue_request: WARNING - Running out of I/O theads
14:17:50| aio_queue_request: Perhaps you should increase NUMTHREADS
14:17:50| aio_queue_request: Or install more disks to share the load

I've recompiled with NUMTHREADS=32 but didn't help I still get the same
aio error and some FATAL errors too.

Any suggestions?

Sorry to be such a pain in the neck,

Thanks,

Flavio
