DNS unknown error: squid2.2 STABLE5

Hi all,

I compiled the latest squid2.2 STABLE5 on Linux Mandrake 6.0 with patched
ipc.c. Now I could run squid without getting any complaint on the file
descriptor but then I got the following error logs:

Sep 29 10:49:47 morgoth squid[4678]: ipcache_nbgethostbyname:
'morgoth.celcom.com.my' PENDING for 3614 seconds, aborting
Sep 29 10:49:47 morgoth squid[4678]: ipcacheChangeKey: from
'morgoth.celcom.com.my' to '1/morgoth.celcom.com.my'
Sep 29 10:49:47 morgoth squid[4678]: commConnectDnsHandle: Bad
dns_error_message

on the client side, the error generated by squid was that the cache could
not resolve the given URL name.

Anybody else facing the same prob on Linux Mandrake w/ kernel 2.2.x
