Differences with Netscape or MSIE

Hi,
i have the following hardware:

Internet <-> Firewall with httpd <-> Proxy-Server with squid-2.2stable5 <->
internal lan

Are there known problems using MSIE 4/5 or using Netscape
in combination with squid under linux 2.2.13 ??
As i see, i never have problems with the Netscape-Browsers, but
i see often a strange behaviour of the MSIE-Browsers, which have been
configured to use the squid as proxy-server.
