Hello,

I'm new to squid. I have search for this error and haven't found exactly

the right answer yet so I have resorted to asking you all. Please forgive if

it's a dumb question.

OK. Squid starts, but when I try to goto a url I get an error about the dns.

When I check it out this is the error. Below it are my systems settings

at the moment.

Can anyone please tell me what's going on here and what my problem is please.

Should I attach my squid.conf also ?

error:

helperOpenServers: Starting 5 'dnsserver' processes

ifconfig returns:
