Cisco WCCP and Squid

Hi,

Which combinations have been tested to work? I've tried
Cisco IOS 12.0(5)XE4/XE6/T1 and 12.0(6), together with squid 2.3
stable2/devel3 and squid 2.4 devel2.

None seems to be able to get my packets routed to the cache server.
I've got the squid to be recognized by the router as a cache engine, but
there wasn't any redirected packets at all.

Here's what I have done for the configuration:

1. Router (Ethernet 1/0 goes to the squid server)
    ip wccp version 1
    interface Ethernet 1/1
      ip wccp web-cache redirect out

2. Squid server
compiled the kernel with the patched ip_gre and the necessary options
     (e.g. ip forwarding etc)
    configured ipchains
    configured device for ip_gre

What I do not have are:
   1. using ip_wccp
   2. configuring route-map in the router

Appreciate any help. Thanks.
benn
