Heh, heh... yeah, applying the patches changed the message from
 VFS: grow_buffers: size= 16384
to
 VFS: grow_buffers: size= 131072

Ick... I noted that 2.2.17pre3 is out... and has a fix for the high
cpu/network usage TCP dropout... I guess I'll try it out with the more
modern RAID... maybe I'll get lucky.

This is why I stick with Slackware... IMHO RedHat does too much custom
stuff.

I can only find betas of 0.50... well, if I try 0.90, I guess I won't need
0.50 anymore... ;-)

Viewing the patches for the newer RAID, is the most current patch really
only for 2.2.11? Dated August 24th, 1999... Geez!
