I already have this. Also, according to win95 dial up networking (yes,
winproxy client is win95), there is no traffic during the problem stages.
But it intermittently works, and works for about 20 requests after I reload
squid, then fails again.

My cache_peer looks like 'connect-timeout=100 no-query default' and port 7
for ICP.

Do you need ICP?

If not, try adding no-query to the cache_peer definition.

It might also be that the winproxy has trouble handle the traffic. Is
anything said in cache.log?
