Hi

In reality, no production system should, in my opinion, be based on a
prepackaged /anything/. I've found a lot of mileage in specifically
tailoring and compiling packages to my environment in terms of speed,
security and clarity.

As an example, the out-of-the-box installation from Redhat 7 is hacked to
such an extent, I would consider it fundamentally broken and of no use to
anyone but the most light of Squid users.

My two pence worth, too :)
