[squid-users] Unable to browse..

Hi ..

I have installed squid2.3 on AIX platform..under the logs directory the
file cache.log shows that the squid is ready to server requests..But i am
unable to browse the net..the browser contacts my proxy server and then
stays on at that for a long time... the access.log under logs directory
is blank..i dont get any hits in this file

ps -eaf | grep squid shows the squid is running..

I am i missing something
