[squid-users] How to Compile under Mac OSX?

I'm trying to compile Squid for Mac OSX 10.0.1, which is a BSD/Mach
system.

When I configure, I get the following:

[localhost:moo/downloads/squid-2.4.STABLE1] root# ./configure
loading cache ./config.cache
checking host system type... configure: error: can not guess host type;
you must specify one

Does anyone have any suggestions?
