Well, strictly, yes. IT'll "work". But you'll get object collisions since
there isn't any way in squid to share the indexes between processes.

Set them up as peers, and use seperate cache_dir's (on seperate drives).
That way they can still access each others objects, through each squid
process rather than direct to disk.
