Squid requires either client configuration or resources on your firewall,
and needs setup and administration
On the plus side, it can cache web contents so that accessing the same pages
over and over will save you network bandwidth.
You can use both together if you wish.

Hi all,
 
If  anybody have  information regarding comparison (advantages, advantages)
of Squid & IPMasquerading kindly sent to me.
I have to select one b/w them.
Is it possible that from squid that i share ssh and other (IP) services b/c
by default it only provide very few services?
Kindly guide in this regard(e.g send the sample conf or send the docs or
urls ).
