[squid-users] What kind of directory load balance is this?

As I see and there is a entry somewhere in squid conf , the cache load
should be split evenly over all the cache dirs, right?

So why do I have , with a cache size of 100 MB , with the default 16 / 256
configuration , this behaviour :

cache/00 - 100 Mb
cache/01 - 260 K
cache/02 - 260 K
(...)
cache/0F - 260 K

Inside cache/00 , I have maybe half a dozen or maybe a dozen directories
containig the 100Mb , and then all the others empty!

I dont understand this beahaviour!

I'm using squid 2.4 Stable1

Anyone has the same "feature" as I do?
