Hi all,

when I look in my cachemgr - I see:

refresh_pattern ^ftp: 1440 20% 10080

refresh_pattern ^gopher: 1440 0% 1440

refresh_pattern . 9999 99% 9999
 override-expire ignore-reload
refresh_pattern ^ftp: 1440 20% 10080

refresh_pattern ^gopher: 1440 0% 1440

refresh_pattern . 0 20% 4320

reference_age 31557790 seconds

the first 3 refresh_patterns I've set in the config..
the other 3 I don't know why is still there..

I'm guessing they might be the reason why squid keeps sending IMS requests
to
my backend-servers.. how do I setup squid so that it only uses the
refresh_pattern's
set in the squid.conf?

It is a myth that people resist change. People resist what other
people make them do, not what they themselves choose to do...
That's why companies that innovate successfully year after year
seek their peopl's ideas, let them initiate new projects and
encourage more experiments. -- Rosabeth Moss Kanter
