2.4.STABLE4 was released before the advisory to get all fixes into
the latest release with no need for patching.

The fixes only corrects the vulnerabilities. No functionality is
lost. But some of the recommendations in the advisory is always
recommendable. For example, if you only use SNMP for MRTG graphics,
and MRTG is running on the same server, then set
"snmp_incoming_address 127.0.0.1" to not publish the SNMP port
outside the box.
