[squid-users] Problems when creating swap directories

I've just installed squid Version 2.3.STABLE4 from suse, i'm running suse
7.3, after spending one afternoon going throught the documentation and
squid.conf.
I tried to run squid -z to create the swap directories but:

FATAL: none: (2) No such file or directory
Squid Cache (Version 2.3.STABLE4-hno.CVS): Terminated abnormally.

Then I tried with full debugging (squid -zX):

2002/02/27 21:36:34| file_map_create: creating space for 16384 files
2002/02/27 21:36:34| --> 512 words of 4 bytes each
FATAL: none: (2) No such file or directory
Squid Cache (Version 2.3.STABLE4-hno.CVS): Terminated abnormally.

What file i might be missing ? Do I have to touch files or sth ? File
permissions wrong ?

Thanks all,

Francisco 'Paladino' Costa
