If you see "Network unreachable" then there is only two possible causes:
a) You havent configured the networking of box where Squid runs
correcly, such as missing the default gateway or other stupid things..
b) You are inside a firewall where you must use a parent proxy, and
have neglected to search for the word firewall in either squid.conf or
the FAQ..
