[squid-users] differences in versions

Hi all,

Could someone please explain to me why files always end up in other
directories or with other names in different builds?

Example:

with 2.4, cachemanager was called cachemgr.cgi, with 2.5 it was just
cachemgr (PRE7-8 eitherway).

2.5PRE9 again calls it cachemgr.cgi.

The squid-executable now is in sbin, while it used to be in bin. Any special
reason for this cluttering?
