[squid-users] Squid & Netmask Warning

Hi all,

can anybody tell me why the warning: Netmask masks away part of the
specified IP 192.168.XX.YY/255.255.255.0? Does this mean that the subnet ID
part of the IP address is being masked away by the netmask? How can I remedy
it since it shows this warning everytime I start/stop squid.

Many thanks,
Gilbert
