[squid-users] Dial Access Server & Squid

This can be other problem instead of squid problem. But, I hope
someone in this list can give some clues ...

Here is the situation in my place :
Some (but not too many) users have to dial to a cisco dial access
server to connect to internet. Until yesterday, this dial access
server have been configured to NAT every user dialling to it, and is routed to
the firewall.
FYI, everything in our network is behind that firewall.

We want all users using dial access to be routed to squid proxy
server, not directly to the firewall.

What we have done is simply to change the route to 0.0.0.0 (internet).
If all users (using dial access) used to go (directly) via firewall whose ip address is
10.0.0.1, then now they are routed to 10.1.1.1 which is the squid
proxy server address.

But alas, even after setting the browser to use 10.1.1.1 as its proxy
server, and even ping can be done from both sides (from client and
from the proxy), I still can surf internet from a dial access...

Any shares and helps would be very appreciated

Regards
aqil
