Hi Squid Masters,

I want some help for you. I want my squid server to give me caching for
atleast 20 % means 20% bandwdith saving. How do i configure squid to
achieve this target. Plz recommend me the required hardware.

This is a Transparent squid proxy server.

my hardware and os are:

hp brio pentium 3 with 512 ram

40 Gb harddisk.

Redhat 9.0 with default squid 2.5stable1

This server is doing bandwidth management too with tc qdisc. Bandwidth
manegement is working great but squid performance is not good.

Let me give u the results.
