[squid-users] Auth Helpers in Squid 3.0

Hi,

I've downloaded and compiled Squid3.0_STABLE1.

The various Howtos suggest that the User Authentication programs like
pam_auth need to be compiled seperatley.

Any suggestions on how to do this with PAM?

Alternatively, I see that I should have compiled squid with the
authentication scheme --enable-auth="PAM", but this doesn't work.
Clearly the wrong syntax. 'pam' doesn't work either.

Is it a secret?
