This is wrong indeed. If you go to the zoneinfo dir you'll find a lot of
files.
Each defines a timezone. You should do 2 things: 1) copy the correct
timezone-file to localtime. 2) Edit/create the /etc/timezone file. My file has
Europe/Amsterdam (Which makes sense if I'm in The Netherlands)
