[squid-users] automatic detect settings

Hello Squid-users,

i've set my internet explorer 5.0 browser to use "automatic detect
settings".
but it cannot detect my Squid proxy server.
Squid proxy server and client computers are in the same LAN.
Squid port is 8080.
should i change my proxy server port ... ?
