RE: [squid-users] How do you clear the cache in Squid?

1. shutdown squid
        squid -k shutdown

2. Remove the swap.state file in the cache directory and all the sub
directories

3. rebuild the swap files
        squid -z

4. relaunch squid.

I was thinking that restarting the services would do it but I remembered it
is contained in a flat file. Do I need to delete the contents of that file?
