No. To work against a Samba PDC, I think you need Samba 3.x on both ends.
The 2.2.x PDC code doesn't support the neccessary functionality. This is
a Samba issue.

The winbind daemon works fine under FBSD since 2.2.4 (and probably
earlier).

What doesn't work is winbind's libnss_winbind.so module because FBSD
doesn't do
nss, but this does not affect Squid.
